Commenting on our food heroes’ professionalism, experience and resilience, Lord Gardiner’s letter follows our calls to reinforce the role of for key workers in food production during these extraordinary times.
From farmers and vets who look after our birds, through butchers and engineers who keep our factories working, to drivers and distributors who put food on every table, it is essential that food supply is prioritised during these difficult times. Food supply cannot stop, neither can our food heroes.
